Position Overview Type: Full-Time Location: Remote Travel: None expected Clearance: Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required Summary/Objective Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. Network Specialist IV provides the most senior tier of technical network engineering support, holding mastery-level expertise across enterprise network technologies, structured as remote Enterprise, Europe Regional, or Pacific Regional lead roles. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD. Essential Functions Provides mastery-level network engineering support across routed, switched, and shared LAN/WAN environments. Serves as a regional (Europe, Pacific) or enterprise-level senior technical escalation resource. Applies deep expertise in cable testing, protocol troubleshooting, and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA). Supports escalations beyond the scope of Network Specialist I–III personnel. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (g., Computer Sciences) with five (5) years’ of related experience Alternative: Successful completion of a certified technical/vocational school with ten (10) years’ of related experience Expertise in Windows networks, Cisco Systems, and Orion SolarWinds with experience in ZTA and Methodologies. Mastery of standard networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP
