The Senior Manufacturing Engineer role is a senior-level, hands-on manufacturing engineering position responsible for defining how custom parts are built and priced—reviewing manufacturability, generating competitive quotes, and providing design feedback that brings products to market faster. The role serves as a technical authority who helps raise the bar for costing and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) quality across regions. MISUMI Americas serves three sets of customers—builders who order parts through us, manufacturing partners who make and assemble those parts, and our world-class sales professionals who rely on fast, accurate quoting and DFM support to win and serve accounts. As a senior member of the team, this person also coaches and mentors other engineers and partners closely with the Global Capability Center (GCC) Costing and DFM team, with room to grow their scope and influence over time.
