Senior Java Back-End Developer

Job Description: The Senior Java Backend Developer will be responsible for developing, evolving, and maintaining backend solutions using Java, ensuring high quality, scalability, security, and performance of applications. This role requires strong technical proficiency, architectural mindset, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, in addition to the strategic use of generative AI tools to increase productivity, quality, and innovation. The professional will also work to support the construction and evolution of AI agents, collaborating on the development of services, integrations, and intelligent workflows that use AI securely, observably, and aligned with business needs. Main daily activities: Develop, maintain, and evolve backend services using Java; Help build, evolve, and integrate AI agents into existing backend systems; Collaborate on the development of services and APIs that support intelligent agents, ensuring scalability and reliability; Use generative AI tools, such as Cursor and/or Claude Opus, to: Accelerate code development; Support refactoring and continuous improvement; Assist in legacy code analysis and reverse engineering; Support the writing and review of tests and technical documentation; Contribute to the design, evolution, and maintenance of software architecture, including solutions involving AI; Implement best development practices, market standards, and principles.
