Instructional designer-contractor

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support the implementation of a newly developed customer-facing training curriculum for a major biopharmaceutical client. This contract role will execute a strategic curriculum blueprint into engaging, instructionally sound learning experiences across multiple modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning, microlearning, job aids). The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in adult learning principles, market access, field reimbursement, and a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Design and develop training content aligned to the overarching curriculum framework, tailored to customer-facing field teams in the pharmaceutical sector. Collaborate closely with the Fractional Learning Leader (curriculum lead), subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure scientific accuracy and instructional quality. Create engaging instructional materials, including instructor-led training, virtual, leader guides, eLearning modules, video learning, and performance support tools. Apply adult learning principles and modern instructional strategies to ensure knowledge transfer and field applicability. Participate in content review cycles, incorporating feedback from cross-functional teams, including Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance. Manage timelines and version control to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with the broader launch or training
