Linux & Kubernetes Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities For the IT operations service, we are looking for a mid-level ICT expert specializing in Linux and Kubernetes. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and further developing the systems the organization uses daily. You will handle the daily management of existing environments, including tracking backups and monitoring, and resolving incidents. Additionally, you will participate in the design and implementation of major changes, new systems, and the phasing out of outdated platforms. The emphasis is on the further development of Kubernetes as a platform for both purchased and internally developed applications. Therefore, experience with on-prem Kubernetes management, orchestration, and container technology is essential. You will work within the IT operations team, which is responsible for managing Linux systems, network equipment, and storage infrastructure. Knowledge of enterprise networks and storage is a plus in this position. Your profile You have demonstrable experience of at least 3 years with setting up, upgrading, configuring, and using a Kubernetes platform in an enterprise environment, preferably on-prem. You have demonstrable experience of at least 3 years with Ansible for configuration management in an enterprise environment. You have experience with the requested technology or a similar solution. Knowledge of Linux system administration in an enterprise environment is required, preferably with Suse Linux Enterprise Server.
