ICT Business Analyst (Senior)

Duties and Responsibilities For a defined analysis assignment, we are looking for an ICT Business Analyst to develop independent advice on the future of an existing digital platform. This is a one-off assignment for decision support. Structural application management, product management, and ALM remain outside the scope of the assignment and belong to internal responsibilities. The assignment results in a concise and well-founded advisory report, supplemented by a brief explanation to the client. Within a limited analysis volume, you will formulate an independent technical and financial evaluation as the basis for choosing between three future scenarios. Goal and Deliverables A technical and financial analysis of the current situation. An estimation of costs and risks per scenario. A motivated recommendation, taking into account objectives and budgetary feasibility. In Scope 1. Technical analysis You will map out the main technical bottlenecks, technical debt, and structural causes of recurring incidents and high maintenance or support costs, including relevant APIs and integrations. You will assess the dependency on a shared back-end and the impact thereof on potential future scenarios. You will make a high-level evaluation of the stability, maintainability, and risks of the current platform model.
