Senior Software Developer (Back-end)

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing, scaling, and maintaining high-performance systems. Your role will focus primarily on the Java ecosystem with Quarkus, with the responsibility of ensuring backend robustness and the efficiency of the infrastructure supporting the application. In addition, you will work on DevOps tasks, configuring pipelines, databases, and orchestration in Kubernetes, ensuring continuous delivery and product stability. The position is 100% remote and reports directly to Tech Lead Francisco Aguiar. Responsibilities: Collaborate with architects and product managers to define technical requirements, focusing on end-to-end solution feasibility and scalability. Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Java and Quarkus. Ensure the rigorous application of development best practices, such as SOLID, KISS, Clean Code, and design patterns. Implement messaging solutions and asynchronous communication (RabbitMQ) with a focus on resilience. Support DevOps demands, such as configuring and maintaining PostgreSQL database schemas, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and ensuring security via Keycloak. Contribute to the team's technical evolution through code reviews and sharing best practices. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend software development.
