Systems Engineering Lead

Systems Engineer Lead This is a player-coach leadership position, not a people manager removed from the technology. The ideal candidate leads by example, enjoys mentoring engineers, remains deeply technical, works independently, collaborates effectively across teams, and thrives in environments where new challenges arise every day. The strongest candidates will come from enterprise environments supporting Windows, VMware, Azure, AWS, and cloud infrastructure while leading small teams of engineers and driving infrastructure projects from planning through execution. Who We Are EmployBridge is one of the United States' largest light industrial staffing company and the first workforce-as-a-service provider. The organization delivers workforce solutions through a digital-first approach while helping place hundreds of thousands of people into roles across the country. The culture is centered around Championing People and Unlocking Potential. The Systems Engineering Lead is responsible for leading a team of four Systems Engineers while remaining hands-on with the design, implementation, support, operation, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure. This role supports both on-premises and cloud environments and serves as a senior technical resource across the organization. The individual will participate in technical research, infrastructure modernization, system administration, troubleshooting, and operational support while helping drive team productivity and accountability.
