About the role We are seeking an Assistant Editor to join our remote production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for YouTube and science, experience edit assisting across digital video content, and proficiency in video editing software. The Assistant Editor will be reporting to the in-house Editor and be responsible for supporting our in-house and freelance editors. Key Responsibilities Manage and organise video footage, assets and archives Organising and labelling of rushes Syncing multiple cameras and audio sources into sync maps Timeline assembly edits at the start of an edit Short edits on sponsor sections Sourcing B-Roll footage Using tools to create transcripts or other reference files to accompany raw footage Work closely with the editors to support them with b roll footage and inserting graphics &
