Role: Senior BESS Inverter Performance Engineer Location: Canada or USA Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 annual salary + bonus Role Overview for Senior BESS Inverter Performance Engineer This role is responsible for diagnosing inverter-related performance issues across operating BESS projects and driving corrective action with inverter vendors. The candidate must be able to identify whether issues are caused by inverter software, firmware, controls logic, hardware, design limitations, or site-level power system conditions. The role also owns retrofit execution tracking, including affected assets, deployment status, validation results, risks, and closure using Excel, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
