Senior AWS Cloud Consultant - NM

DVT is one of the top software development companies on the continent. Our software engineers are consulting on cutting-edge applications at top companies in South Africa, as well as consulting globally. You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most established developers in the country and globally with the latest technologies. DVT is committed to continuously training our staff and we are very proud of our culture of learning, internal speaking and training at a variety of sponsored technical events across the AWS ecosystem. We are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join a strategic cloud transformation programme. This is a hands-on consulting role requiring deep AWS engineering expertise, strong technical leadership, and the ability to design and deliver production-grade cloud platforms. This role is not suited to candidates whose experience has primarily involved deploying applications into AWS environments designed by others. We are specifically looking for an engineer who has personally designed, built, configured and operated AWS infrastructure in production and can confidently own architecture, security, networking and operational decisions. You'll play a key role in shaping AWS architecture, driving CI/CD transformation, enabling Salesforce integrations, improving observability, and providing technical leadership across multiple workstreams.
