Finance Director (Strategic Finance Lead)

We are looking for a Finance Director to lead the financial operations of Devsu , while acting as a strategic partner to leadership. This is not a traditional accounting role. You will act as a senior financial leader, owning financial visibility, planning, and decision support across the company, and serving as a key partner to leadership in shaping the business. You’ll be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy and helping shape the financial direction of the business, balancing execution with strategy. Position is 100% remote in Ecuador and LATAM. Requirements Key Responsibilities Financial Operations & Compliance Own the monthly close process across entities. Oversee preparation of: Balance Sheet Profit & Loss (P&L) Cash flow statements Ensure compliance with: Ecuadorian accounting, tax, and labor regulations (primary) U.S. GAAP Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors in both, US and Ecuador jurisdictions. Strategic Finance & Decision Support Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Build and maintain financial models to support growth decisions. Provide insights on: Profitability by client / service line. Cost structure and margin optimization. Cash flow and capital allocation. Support leadership in strategic initiatives (pricing, expansion, efficiency). Identify risks and opportunities proactively.
