Java Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) - Focus on Backend & Microservices

At Devhub IT Solutions, we work on exciting digital projects for clients in the DACH region, ranging from modern AI applications to high-performance enterprise platforms. We are currently looking for reinforcement for a long-term project in the financial sector starting October 2025: Are you experienced in Java and Spring Boot and eager to dive deep into a complex system? Then read on. Important: A primary residence in Austria is required for this role (remote work is possible). Unfortunately, we cannot currently consider applications from abroad. Responsibilities You will work together with an agile team on an existing system with a focus on backend development in the accounting sector. Your tasks in the project include: Implementing new user stories, expanding existing functionalities, developing new microservices (Java, Spring Boot), frontend development (React, approx. 30%), conducting code reviews, and performing developer, unit, and integration tests. Qualifications Several years of experience in software development, very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, experience with React in the frontend, familiarity with PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS. Working according to Scrum is standard for you. Fluent German in spoken and written is a must (knockout criterion). Residence in Austria is a prerequisite (regardless of citizenship). Full-time availability (38.5h/week) or part-time (at least 35h/week). No concurrent student jobs. Benefits Remote-First: Working from anywhere possible.
