Software Product Management Lead

Overview DecisionPoint seeks a Software Product Management Lead to drive product vision, roadmap development, user story definition, and stakeholder engagement for a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role leads the end-to-end product lifecycle, aligning user needs, mission objectives, and technical capabilities into a cohesive and actionable product strategy. The Software Product Management Lead partners with engineering teams, UX specialists, PMO leadership, and mission stakeholders to prioritize features, refine requirements, manage backlogs, and ensure product releases deliver measurable value. This position is fully remote. Duties & Responsibilities The Software Product Management Lead will: Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with mission and user needs. Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and user story refinement. Develop clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature descriptions. Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, UX, QA, security, and operations teams. Manage product lifecycles from concept through delivery and iterative improvement. Analyze user feedback, operational metrics, and mission needs to adjust product priorities.
