Power BI/Analytics Engineering Lead

Overview DecisionPoint seeks a Power BI/Analytics Engineering Lead to provide SME-level technical leadership for shared semantic models, DAX measures, reporting standards, performance, access design, and controlled BI deployment supporting the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. This position will guide the design, development, validation, and delivery of consistent analytical models, dashboards, reports, and self-service reporting capabilities. The lead will use Power BI Desktop, Power Query, SQL, approved hosting configurations, gateways, and appropriate query and refresh patterns to support reliable mission reporting. The Power BI/Analytics Engineering Lead will collaborate with Government stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, database personnel, governance specialists, cybersecurity teams, and testers to ensure reporting products use consistent definitions, provide appropriate access, and deliver accurate, understandable results. This position is remote, with Chicago-area candidates preferred. Duties & Responsibilities The Power BI/Analytics Engineering Lead will: Own the technical design and maintenance of shared semantic models supporting enterprise analytics and reporting. Develop and govern reusable DAX measures, calculation logic, relationships, and common analytical definitions. Establish reporting standards for model d
