Data and BI Technical Writer (Journeyman)

Overview DecisionPoint seeks a Data and BI Technical Writer to support validation and documentation of data pipelines, warehouse components, dashboards, and reports under the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. This Journeyman-level position will assess data quality, integrity, accuracy, performance, and usability while maintaining clear records of test results, defects, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions. The specialist will translate technical findings into reproducible issue descriptions and understandable documentation supporting corrective actions and operational use. The Data and BI Technical Writer will collaborate with data engineers, database personnel, BI developers, business analysts, quality personnel, and Government stakeholders to verify expected behavior and document the resolution of identified issues. This position is remote, with Chicago-area candidates preferred.
