The Metals portfolio is one of the most significant direct-material portfolios supporting CONMED 's Largo operation. This role requires sustained stakeholder engagement, disciplined supplier management, ownership of critical escalations, and the ability to influence without direct authority and lead cross-functional solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Category Strategy: Own and lead the multi-year enterprise Metals category strategy across suppliers, sites, functions, and business priorities, connecting category choices to CONMED transformation goals. Complex Negotiations: Lead complex negotiations using commodity indices, should-cost models, benchmarking, and TCO, with material business, continuity, and commercial implications. Commercial Structuring: Design complex commercial structures, including indexation, capacity commitments, tooling ownership, LTAs, and balanced risk-sharing terms. Advanced Analytics: Build and challenge should-cost, index, benchmark, TCO, PPV, and financial scenario analyses to shape strategy and negotiations. Supplier Governance: Establish strategic-suppli
