Data Privacy Consultant

Cognicion LLC is a boutique consulting firm that helps organizations address complex data privacy, cyber response, and eDiscovery challenges. We are actively recruiting a Consultant-level professional to directly support external Data Privacy clients. This role works closely with Senior Consultants, cross-functional partners, and client representatives to operationalize organizational privacy processes. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Acts as the initial point of contact for operations-related, client-driven data privacy issues and questions. Independently resolves issues and escalates higher risk issues to the appropriate party. Assists in operationalizing client’s data privacy needs by following, anticipating, and executing directives on a wide range of sophisticated privacy issues. Identifies opportunities for process improvement. Develops and implements workflow processes and procedures that meet project client-directed specifications aligned with clients’ programs and coordinates or performs the operationalization of special requests. Collaborates with internal and external teams to post and update relevant documentation. Partners with cross-functional teams such as IT, InfoSec, Procurement/Sourcing, HR, Sales, and Marketing to collaborate on projects and drive program initiatives.
