We work with international clients, value autonomy and clear communication, and build long-term partnerships through technical excellence. 🔗 More information: 💻 About the Project We are looking for a hands-on Senior AI Backend Engineer to join a strategic initiative for a leading hedge fund and multi-asset investing business. As the volume and complexity of their financial data grow, this role is critical to building the underlying "plumbing" that connects AI models to enterprise data and documents. Sitting within the AI Backend workstream, you will build Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, Snowflake plug-ins, and robust document-processing pipelines. Your work will enable investment and operations teams to safely search, summarize, and interact with first-party research through cutting-edge AI tools. Responsibilities MCP Integrations: Design, build, and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and integrations that expose critical data sources and internal applications to AI assistants and agents. Data Pipelines & RAG: Build sophisticated document-processing pipelines for unstructured first-party research (memos, Excel models, call notes, PDFs, Word). This includes parsing, chunking, metadata/entity tagging, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
