Product Manager

Product Manager Chesapeake Tech nology, Inc. | Remote (US) or New York, NY | Full-time About Chesapeake Tech nology Chesapeake Tech nology has built marine survey software since 1997. Our products run on the desktop, in the cloud and on the vehicle. SonarWiz is the desktop industry standard for processing sidescan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, bathymetry and magnetometer data, used by survey companies, research institutions, government agencies and navies worldwide. Fathom is its cloud successor: survey teams upload raw sonar data, process it in the browser, review and mark targets, and keep raw and processed data in one place. Fathom WAKE runs the same processing onboard autonomous underwater vehicles. We are remote-first, with an office in New York. The role The Product Manager owns the roadmap across SonarWiz, Fathom and Fathom WAKE. It is a hands-on role. About a quarter of your time goes to design and development: you will write the specs, draw the screens, and build small pieces of the product yourself when that is the fastest path. Responsibilities Own the Fathom roadmap: decide what ships each quarter, in what order, and why. Turn customer and field feedback into specs engineering can build from, working directly with hydrographic surveyors, Navy operators and AUV manufacturers. Run the product process for a small engineering team plus contractors: user stories, acceptance criteria, bug triage, release reviews and the backlog. Plan SonarWiz releases alongside Fathom Des
