About the Role
Your responsibilities: You design and further develop the data architecture within the Data & Intelligence Cluster and build the pipelines that ingest, enrich, and process charging, POI, traffic, and market data in batch and streaming operations (Spark, Kafka, Debezium). You conduct complex data analyses and translate the results into clear recommendations for internal stakeholders and customers. You research, develop, and evaluate forecasting models for the utilization of charging points and locations using backtesting, error metrics, and drift monitoring. You develop intelligent pricing approaches based on market data, forecasts, and events, and simulate them prior to the live rollout. You make and document architectural and modeling decisions and clearly communicate trade-offs to engineers and non-technical stakeholders. You mentor and train engineers and analysts in data engineering, data analysis, and forecasting methods, e.g., through workshops, pair programming, design reviews, and code quality feedback. You drive AWS and Databricks infrastructure decisions relevant to data provisioning, including pipelines and cloud cost awareness. You identify and introduce AI tools that improve analysis, development productivity, and data quality. This is you: You are already working at the staff engineer level (or equivalent) and have technical leadership over multiple teams.
