The Associate Director, EMR/EHR Provider Recruitment and Medical Documentation is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and ongoing performance of provider onboarding, electronic medical record/electronic health record connectivity, and medical documentation operations in support of the VA contract. This role oversees teams responsible for recruiting and enabling provider participation in documentation exchange workflows, supporting document submission readiness, and ensuring medical documentation processes are compliant, timely, complete, and operationally sustainable. This leader is accountable for establishing and optimizing the end-to-end operating model for provider participation in medical documentation exchange, including onboarding new providers and practices, supporting documentation workflow adoption, and improving submission, retrieval, indexing, and compliance performance.
