Vendor Operations Analyst

Position Purpose: The Vendor Operations Analyst identifies and presents business and operational specifications based on customer and business needs, industry best practices and available technology. Implements processes, systems and methodologies to meet the company’s business initiatives. Assists Vendor Management with vendor performance management, governance and oversight, data analytics and reporting, risk and compliance monitoring, and implementation support. Applies performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPI) that allow the business to analyze, evaluate and report vendor performance to senior management, including performance against contractual SLAs, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements. Monitors the productivity and quality of vendor services by analyzing data, reports and processes (site evaluations) to ensure contract terms, requirements and specification are met. Identifies performance degradation, trends, and operational risks requiring remediation. Prepares reports on vendor performance to internal oversight committees and assists in corrective action plans. Develops vendor performance reporting and supports vendor governance meetings and business reviews. Identifies systemic issues and develops and executes strategies to address these issues across vendor specific initiatives. Seeks recommendations by management to improve vendor’s performance.
