What you will be responsible for in this role: This HID Coding Trainer serves as a trusted resource for clinicians by providing education, consultation, auditing, and feedback on medical documentation and coding practices to support compliance, accurate reimbursement, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Conducts medical record audits to ensure alignment with coding requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards. Delivers individualized and specialty-specific education through one-on-one support, provider tip sheets, virtual presentations, and other training resources. Functions as a subject matter expert in surgical coding, diagnosis coding, and documentation requirements.
