SAP Hazmat Functional SME

This is a remote position. SAP HAZMAT Functional Resource Position Overview The SAP HAZMAT Functional Resource will support the JTMS SAP S/4HANA program by providing functional expertise for the management, configuration, integration, and sustainment of hazardous material (HAZMAT) processes within the SAP environment. This resource will work closely with functional teams, technical teams, business stakeholders, and customer representatives to ensure hazardous material requirements are accurately represented within SAP and integrated across applicable logistics and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting SAP solutions involving hazardous material or dangerous goods management, material master data, logistics execution, transportation, warehousing, and/or environmental health and safety processes within a complex enterprise environment. Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), federal, or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Serve as a functional subject matter expert for SAP HAZMAT and Dangerous Goods-related business processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment. Analyze customer and program requirements related to hazardous material identification, classification, storage, handling, movement, transportation, and reporting. Support configuration and functional design of SAP capabilities used to manage hazardous and regulated materials. Maintain and validate HAZMAT-related master data, classific
