Lead Quest Programmer

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Lead Quest Programmer to join the team responsible for Cyberpunk 2, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major title in the Cyberpunk franchise, developed under the leadership of our North American team based in Boston. This is a key role within the project, consisting of leading the engineering team focused on narrative technologies for Cyberpunk 2. Our narrative system plays a central role in delivering rich and immersive experiences. In this role, you will act as a bridge between creative vision and technical execution, working closely with narrative content creators, quest leads, directors, as well as principal architects and leads responsible for maintaining our custom, shared narrative system. Together, you will ensure our tools and workflows give creators the flexibility and support needed to craft compelling narrative experiences. Daily Responsibilities: People management and team development: Manage direct reports and support their professional development and career ambitions. Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings, performance evaluations, and manage the hiring process and promotion plans. Guide and mentor your engineering team regarding quality.
