Internship Program The CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain real-world experience and prepare yourself for your career after college. The program offers: The opportunity to work on projects that truly impact the company Journey-to-the-Job seminars with CareSource leaders to network and learn about their career paths An assigned mentor and access to former interns who earned full-time positions with CareSource An opportunity to test what you have learned and discover where you want to go The satisfaction of working with smart and motivated people while building new skills Essential Functions: Analyze internal and external data sets Attend cross disciplinary team meetings and workstreams to understand departmental initiatives and advocate for appropriate information Create and execute a survey to understand member needs, preferences, and experiences. Upon receiving results, summarize responses, and utilize results to inform how CareSource could best respond to opportunities identified Immersion in NCQA and health plan accreditation, HEDIS measures, and Quality Improvement science through preparing documentation and required components for Ohio Medicaid's NCQA Health Outcome accreditation Education and Experience: H
