Freelance AI / ML Engineer – Pricing (m/f/d)

For our client, a large B2B trading company, we are looking for a Freelance AI / ML Engineer – Pricing (m/f/d) with Azure Databricks experience. Your Mission: You will bring an existing AI pricing model into production. Prices will be data-driven, and you will see the impact on margins. Build data pipelines in Azure Databricks (PySpark, SQL) for sales, product, customer, and purchasing data. Analyze, adapt, partially rewrite, and retrain an existing machine learning pricing model. Tune models (e.g., price elasticity per segment) and track experiments in MLflow. Verify recommendations against actual prices and margins and explain them to the business. Integrate the solution into pricing and sales processes, working closely with an international team. Your Talent: Several years of project experience as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist, with at least one end-to-end AI project taken to production. Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks. Very strong Python (PySpark, SQL). Experience with pricing, price optimization, or forecasting is a plus. Agile working methods (e.g., Scrum). Fluent English, German at least B2.
