The Collections team is responsible for the collection of outstanding medical oncology/infusion insurance accounts receivable. This includes understanding how an insurance payer adjudicates claims, how to successfully work a patient’s account, how to handle a dispute/appeal, developing payment plans with customers, and building relationships of trust with external customers and internal business partners. The Coordinator, Collections, is responsible for the timely follow-up and resolution of assigned payer, oncology medical insurance claims.
