You'll help build and sustain mission-critical defense financial and planning systems that modernize how the DoW plans, programs, budgets, and executes operations. End-to-end software architecture is yours to own, from traditional full-stack development to integrating agentic AI capabilities such as LLM-enabled features and intelligent document processing, and more. Strong engineering fundamentals and federal-sector experience are essential, because this position helps balance a growing team by setting the standard for design, testing, code review, and ownership. Work is performed in both unclassified and classified environments. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, NodeJS, Python, and .NET Lead by example in sound software design, automated testing, code review, and ownership of delivered work Mentor and support junior developers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance Integrate AI-enabled features into production systems, including LLM/GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock), RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows
