Director-Supply Chain Planning

The Director, Supply Chain Planning leads the development and continuous improvement of enterprise supply chain planning across Builders FirstSource , with responsibility for demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, replenishment, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). The role applies established supply chain planning principles and practices to improve customer service, inventory productivity, operational performance, and business decision-making. The Director partners across Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Data, and Technology to translate business strategy, customer demand, and operational realities into coordinated, executable plans. The role provides leadership for planning standards, governance, performance management, and organizational capability across a large, distributed operating environment. This is a business and supply chain leadership role enabled by data and technology. The Director owns the business planning processes, requirements, and outcomes while partnering with Technology and Data teams to ensure SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, analytics, and other planning capabilities effectively support the company’s evolving planning model.
