Senior Accountant

This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced and prolific Remote Senior Accountant to join our client’s finance team. The Senior Accountant will be a critical, full-time remote role responsible for the successful execution of our core accounting cycles, financial reporting preparation, and compliance filings. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing the period close process and deep expertise in general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and tax reporting. This is a full-time, contractual, freelancer position for a trial period of 3 months while working at home. JOB DESCRIPTION Period-End Close & General Ledger Management Lead, execute, and manage the full monthly and quarterly financial close cycle, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial data. Assist with the preparation and review of comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, vendor accounts, and other complex general ledger accounts. Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including establishing capitalization policies, recording assets, and running the depreciation process. Prepare and book critical journal entries related to inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
