Job Summary: BARBRI is seeking experienced legal educators, attorneys, and assessment writers to develop high-quality multiple-choice questions for students preparing for the NextGen Bar Exam. This part-time, limited-term independent contractor role focuses on creating application-based assessments that require learners to analyze facts and apply legal principles rather than simply recall legal rules. Authors will collaborate with BARBRI 's content experts to develop content aligned with the NextGen exam blueprint, learning objectives, and assessment methodology. Successful candidates are strong legal writers, skilled assessment developers, and detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a collaborative editorial environment. This is a part-time, limited-term independent contractor role. Compensation is paid on a per-question basis for completed and accepted submissions. As an independent contractor position, this role is not eligible for employee benefits. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
