SAS/Python Developer

For an application reengineering and data migration project, we are looking for a SAS/Python Developer with experience in converting SAS procedures to Python and managing complex data processes. The selected person will work closely with the functional team to understand existing logic, propose architectural improvements, and ensure data consistency during the migration from SAS to Python. Activities The main activities will include: analysis of existing procedures developed in SAS Enterprise Guide; understanding the functional logic of the procedures; translation and reengineering of SAS code into Python; identification of potential architectural and performance improvements; transformation, where applicable, of manual procedures into serverless processes on AWS; testing and comparison activities for SAS/Python results; support for testing and release phases; production of test evidence and documentation; knowledge transfer to the internal team; definition of best practices for future maintenance of the converted procedures. Technical skills The ideal candidate possesses: excellent knowledge of Python; good knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide; experience with: Base SAS; SAS Macro Language; PROC SQL; good knowledge
