Requirements include: Authoring a daily Axios newsletter that features insights and scoops that matter most to the D.C. audience A command of the local market along with the sourcing necessary to illuminate busy readers Experimenting with and leveraging AI for reporting and newsletter production Writing conversationally, in Axios ' Smart Brevity style Helping build Axios Local and shape how the product evolves Worthy of your time: Ideal candidates will operate with a startup mentality and an entrepreneurial spirit, and have the following skills: Experience covering news in D.C.
