As a Senior Underwriting Specialist, you will manage new business and large renewals, drive profitability, and foster strong relationships within your assigned territory. You will provide leadership and mentorship to the underwriting team, coordinatelosscontrol efforts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role also involves productexpertise, training, and continuous improvement to meet departmental goals. This niche Senior Underwriter role will specifically target Recreational Marinas, Boat Dealers, Boat Builders, Yacht Clubs and Rental Boat Operations. How You Will Contribute: New Business & Renewals: Underwrite new business and large renewal commercial accounts, ensuring alignment with rate, retention, and profit goals. Team Leadership: Provide direction and mentorship to teammates (Analysts, Raters, Underwriting Assistants, Junior Underwriters, BOP), delegating tasks and fostering team development. Territory Relationship Management: Build andmaintainstrong agency relationships within your assigned territory, conducting quarterly visits to drive growth and collaboration. Industry Engagement: attend and occasionally act as speaker at relevant industry related events and educational seminars to gain market intell
