Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable data solutions for the Manufacturing BI team, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, databases, APIs, data models, and Power BI reporting solutions. The role works closely with business and technical teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing data solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric. Design and develop solutions using Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, databases, and data models. Build data integrations and APIs across multiple enterprise data sources. Develop and support Power BI reports, semantic models, and dashboards. Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, database performance, and data quality. Work with Manufacturing and technical teams to define requirements and deliver scalable data solutions. 5+ years of experience with SQL, data engineering, ETL/ELT, and data warehouse solutions. Strong SQL Server, T-SQL, data modeling, and performance-tuning skills. Programming experience with Python, Java, C#, Rust, or similar languages. Experience with APIs, JSON, flat files, Excel, and relational databases. Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools. Manufacturing data and Microsoft Fabric experience is a plus.
