Backend Engineer (Remote: Vietnam)

Alongside partners with organizations to drive digital transformation and build high-performing tech teams. We're looking for a mid-level engineer to own both backend service development and data engineering on a realtime facility navigation and asset-tracking platform for industrial and logistics sites. The platform ingests live positioning and telemetry data from BLE-based tracking hardware, correlates it into events (e.g., asset pickups, movement, dwell time), and exposes it through backend services to web and mobile clients. What You'll Do • Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs (C#/.NET) that power the platform's core business logic. • Implement and maintain the service layer for asset tracking, facility navigation, and event detection features. • Integrate with third-party positioning/telemetry providers and their APIs. • Define and evolve API contracts in collaboration with the frontend team (web admin portal and mobile app). • Write automated tests, participate in code review, and help keep the codebase maintainable as the platform grows. • Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of backend services in production. Requirements What We're Looking For • 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience. • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET for backend service development. • Experience integrating with third-party APIs and webhooks. • Comfortable working with real-time or near-real-time data processing requirements. • Experience with a majo
