Senior Software Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and evolve the technology platform supporting our agricultural carbon programs. This is a hands-on engineering position with significant technical ownership. You will develop solutions across our full technology stack, including React applications, TypeScript/Node.js services, databases, and AWS infrastructure. Working closely with Product Management, the Senior Engineering Manager, and cross-functional teams, you will translate complex business and scientific requirements into reliable, maintainable software. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, making sound technical decisions, and taking ownership of solutions from initial discovery through production support. You will also contribute to engineering standards, architectural decisions, and the technical growth of the team. Key Responsibilities Software Design & Development Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL. Build and maintain APIs, independently deployed services, and integrations with internal and external systems. Translate business requirements and technical challenges into practical, scalable solutions. Contribute to software architecture, service design, and technical decision-making.
