Senior Backend Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to work across our AdTech platform, including backend APIs, Real-Time Bidding (RTB) systems, and advertising reporting/data-processing services. The engineer will work across Python, Node.js, and Java and should be comfortable owning high-volume, production-grade backend systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend APIs for UI and platform functionality using Python and/or Node.js. Build APIs supporting campaign management, configuration, reporting, and platform operations. Develop and maintain Java-based RTB and Ad Exchange services. Work on high-throughput, low-latency real-time advertising request/response processing. Develop and maintain Python-based advertising reporting and data-processing services/scripts. Work with event and reporting pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, databases, and cloud storage. Troubleshoot and optimize production services, database queries, and data pipelines. Participate in architecture, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support. Collaborate with UI, SDK, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams. Required Skills Strong experience with Python and/or Node.js backend development. Working knowledge of Java and Scala (optional) and ability to contribute to an existing Java codebase.
