Assistant General Counsel - IT and Commercial Contracts

AECOM has an opportunity for a proactive, team-oriented attorney with experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts to join us as Assistant General Counsel. As a leader in a collegial, fast-paced corporate legal team, you will primarily focus on independently negotiating, drafting and interpreting commercial contracts supporting a variety of corporate functions. This position can be flexible for remote work within the US, not limited to the locations listed. Primary responsibilities include: Drafting, negotiating and interpreting key commercial contracts supporting a variety of corporate functions, including IT, finance, travel and human resources. Scope of responsibilities to include complex global and cross-border contracts, including master services agreements, agreements relating to artificial intelligence, software license agreements, SaaS agreements, and related documentation. Directly and independently negotiating contractual language with third party vendors and counsel to develop creative solutions to complex and novel issues. Managing internal attorney(s) responsible for negotiating, drafting and interpreting commercial contracts.
