Senior DBA Specialist - Chile (L)

POSITION: Senior DBA Specialist. CLIENT: Important Retail client. WORK ARRANGEMENT AND LOCATION: 100% remote. Location: Santiago, Chile (the candidate must be located in Santiago, Chile). ROLE SUMMARY: At Acciona IT we are looking for a Senior DBA Specialist responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and documentation of relational database platforms across various datacenters and cloud providers. You will work primarily with Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, ensuring operational continuity, availability, and compliance with technical, quality, and security standards defined by the client. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of Oracle administration version 11 or higher. Knowledge of MS SQL Server administration. EXPERIENCE: Years of experience: +5/6 years. Type of relevant experience: Experience in relational database platform administration and support. Technical experience/knowledge in Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB. Experience analyzing database-related infrastructure issues. Experience working with platforms deployed in datacenters and/or cloud providers. Ability to manage alerts, platform issues, and escalation to vendors. What carries the most weight: The JD does not establish a rigid minimum number of years, so demonstrable technical experience in database administration and depth of knowledge in Oracle and SQL Server carry more weight.
