Senior Revenue Accountant

About the Role Abnormal AI is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Accounting team, reporting to Crystal He. In this role, you will own key areas of the revenue close process, preparing and reviewing audit-ready reconciliations, workpapers, journal entries, and analyses that support monthly close, financial reporting, and external audit requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to gain meaningful ownership and exposure to technical revenue accounting in a high-growth SaaS environment, while partnering closely with experienced revenue and technical accounting professionals. The ideal candidate operates independently, exercises strong judgment, and is motivated to strengthen how revenue accounting operates by standardizing processes, enhancing controls, and leveraging automation and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. What You Will Do Own the preparation and review of monthly revenue-related reconciliations, rollforwards, and supporting schedules Prepare and review journal entries and flux analyses for revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, commissions, and other related accounts Maintain complete, audit-ready documentation for recurring close activities, including organized workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting evidence Lead assigned revenue close deliverables, ensuring work is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established policies and controls Investigate and
