Quality Assurance Test Analyst II

Overview The Quality Assurance Test Analyst is part of our growing cross-functional Agile development team, developing and supporting transactional websites which fully integrate with complex back-office legacy applications that drive core business processes. Responsibilities Be part of a cross-functional team of Agile testers, developers, and business users. Demonstrate thorough understanding of the software development process and all aspects of Agile Quality Assurance. Deliver effective & comprehensive testing to ensure the highest quality software within the timeframe of Agile sprints. Familiar with automation frameworks and routinely edit and execute automated test scripts using automated testing tools. Manage defect tracking and defect maintenance and perform defect root cause analysis. Analyze and review data, test results and documents for consistency and accuracy. Assist QA team members with ensuring all test resources are utilized effectively and support other QA team members on testing activities and processes. Ensures that the appropriate level of testing has been identified through a Risk Based Testing approach for all test initiatives. Proactively work with all roles on the project team to provide support as needed to ensure overall quality and success of initiatives Independently and proactively maintains expertise in a broad range of testing methodologies and strategies.
