Insurance Retention Save Team This position is responsible for improving insurance retention results. Performs insurance sales or underwriting processing functions with an emphasis on maintaining our insurance business relationship with our members. Mediates insured's cancellation requests/inquiries via telephone and/or internet throughout the ACE markets. Works closely with other departments Branch Offices, Underwriting or external sources. The position is responsible for two or more of the following areas: membership, retention, and insurance. Duties include: Mediate insured’s cancellation requests/inquiries via telephone and/or internet throughout the ACE markets. Identify, recommend and offer solutions to avoid insurance policy cancellation. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete using the accepted underwriting criteria, procedures and quality standards. Responsible for the achievement of business goals on saved policies and saved policy ratio (opportunities vs. number of polices saved). Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of insurance products, features, and benefits. Keep current on policies. Identify cross-sell opportunities based on members’ product needs and service requests. Enhance member relationship by diversifying use of products and services. Provide sales leads to insurance, travel and other departments as appropriate. Work closely with internal departments or external sources on matters that may need to be escalated or require additional follow-up to
