Specialist, IT Procurement

The Role: 11:11 Systems is looking for an IT Procurement Specialist to assist in managing the company’s supply chain process for IT all hardware and software products and services which are leveraged as part of 11:11 System's global products and service offerings. This individual must have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to act quickly, be detail oriented, and build strong relationships with all suppliers to ensure a smooth supply chain and life-cycle of all purchases and assets owned and managed by the company. This is a full-time remote position and reporting to the IT Procurement Manager. Responsibilities: Procure products and services from a variety of suppliers to negotiate best pricing terms, monitor price changes, maintain pricing histories and standard configurations Follow, update and provide input on company processes and policies around procurement Understand technical differences between products and services and present to decision makers Track when contracts & licenses expire and plan renewal negotiations far enough in advance to guarantee the best leverage in negotiating for the company Understand capacity management and logistics to manage lead times for products Build redundancy and diversity in supply chain by establishing multiple sources of suppliers Understand technical differences between usage & licensing types (perpetual, Pay Per Use) and how each are billed and managed Resolve product, usage & licensing issue
