DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) for Linux and Kubernetes-based OSS Infrastructures

You are a technical expert with a strong foundation in Linux and container-based systems. Do you have a "hands-on" mentality and proactively approach problems to solve them? Then you've come to the right place! Responsibilities Your Role We are looking for a service-oriented DevOps Engineer to support us in the commissioning and operation of our Linux-based IT systems. You will need technical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to operate scalable systems within an agile environment. We don't expect you to master everything perfectly already, but solid knowledge of containerized systems and the willingness to learn new technologies are essential. Your Tasks Support in the commissioning and ongoing operation of our Linux systems (SLES, Red Hat, Debian) Management and support of containers, including in Kubernetes Setup and operation of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD pipelines) Maintenance, operation, and technical support (helpdesk) Monitoring of server systems using tools like Icinga and Nagios Setup and operation of databases (including MySQL, PostgreSQL incl. PostGIS) Creation of operations manuals and training in the environment of web-based applications and Linux servers/containers Qualifications Extensive knowledge in the field of Open Source (OSS) infrastructures and Linux systems Experience with server operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian)
